Sports Facilities by J & J Carter

Training indoors allows athletes of all levels many key benefits.

Outdoor sports hall domes provide the opportunity for year-round coverage. This takes away the seasonality aspect of any sport – allowing sportsmen to enjoy their favourite sports, without the limitations of the changing weather.

If you are looking for a commercial outdoor sports structure that you wish to use year round, then you will probably in search of the best solution that will meet your requirements. Lucky for you, we have put together a simple guide to help you choose...

Air supported sport dome structures

Air supported structures are soft roof membrane structures supported by air pressure within a completely enclosed space. Fresh air constantly cycles into the structure to maintain the slightly higher internal pressure.

The air-supported sports dome provides a lower cost alternative to traditional building materials, where the tensile architecture makes for an impressive clear span interior space, with no need for supporting beams or columns.

Sports Domes are ideal for:

  • Tennis courts
  • Swimming pools
  • Hockey arenas
  • Warehouses
  • Bulk storage reservoirs

Frame fabric structures

Frame fabric structures consist of a one-piece PVC tensile membrane fabric, stretched over timber framework. Using steel framing, it is possible for us to design and engineer a bespoke option to suit all requirements.

All buildings are cladded with a PVC Coated Polyester, which has a special top lacquer that helps to inhibit atmospheric dirt to provide a longer lasting finish.

Frame Fabric structures are ideal for:

  • Warehouses
  • Production halls
  • Sports halls
  • Football practice grounds

Our structures use the highest grade materials - providing low cost, low maintenance solutions and excellent playing conditions all year round.
