March 2008 - 20 YEARS FOR J & J CARTER:

J & J Carter win project of the year from the Made Up Textiles Association with Kilworth House Theatre.

2008: 

  • J & J Carter delivers it’s first cable net structure. The Liverpool Web of Light consumes over 400m of stainless cable. Designed by Chinese contemporary artist Ai Weiwei and engineered by Arup. 
  • Royal Bank of Trinidad & Tobago commission J & J Carter to design and build their 320m2 5th Floor Roof enclosure. A unique double conic insulated structure is delivered, all made in the U.K

2009:

J & J Carter’s EcoDam is Patented for it’s unique design. EcoDam is used by the Environment Agency and others in the fight against flooding.

2010:

  • J & J Carter provides over 30Km of Oil Spill Boom to the BP Gulf of Mexico disaster, where 42 gallons per day were lost, creating spills some 160 x 32 Km.
  • Silicone Glass makes it’s debut with the construction of the Gatwick North Terminal Interchange. ATEX is used to provide some 800m2 of rain screen Façade.
