BDR Biofilter

Celtic BioEnergy were asked to build an Anaerobic Digester as part of a new waste facility in Rotherham.

The facility is run by the BDR Partnership set up by Barnsley Borough Council, Doncaster Borough Council and Rotherham Borough Council to jointly manage waste generated in the three areas.

J&J Carter manufactured the membrane roof of the Anaerobic Digester first used in November 2014. The PVC roof enables the storage of biogas whilst organic materials are broken down.
