A crucial component that plays a pivotal role in the success of these structures is the Keder component. Often overlooked, Keder is an unsung hero who provides strength, flexibility, and integrity to tensile fabric architecture.

Understanding Keder

WHAT IS KEDER?

Keder is a fast, easy and secure mounting system for PVC tents and tensile structures.

Keder serves as the critical transition component in tensile architecture. It consists of a high-tensile core (usually PVC) sheathed in a fabric layer, which is then welded to the main membrane panel. This assembly slides into an extruded rail to create a continuous, weather-tight, and load-bearing seal.
